Back in July of 2009, when Sarah Palin announced that she was selflessly stepping down as the governor of Alaska in order to “fight for all our children’s future from outside the governor’s office,” I boldly predicted she'd be joining the talking heads at Fox News ("Asinine R Us") in "no more than six months." Well, it was announced today that Palin has just signed to become a commentator on - wait for it - Fox News!

Wow. That came out of nowhere!

I have to admit, though, that Palin resigned her elected post, and thus began her children's crusade, on July 3rd. Today is January 11th, so that's actually 6 months and 8 days. But I'll now try to correct my error by predicting she says something absolutely, utterly moronic within a week of her first Fox broadcast. Just to be clear, that's seven days after the initial pander 'n' wink.

Call Vegas now. Even money says it'll happen the first time she opens her mouth.
